DO NOT PURCHASE. Amazon should re-consider selling this item! I rarely write reviews but am compelled to do so here! This is a piece of junk. Used once and hot water forcefully sprayed from the steamer head. I was very fortunate my children were not in the room. VERY dangerous. I took everything apart, and tried the unit a second time (with great caution) and same thing happened. Perhaps I had a defective model but it was a SIGNIFICANT safety hazard. The hose/steamer connection was rusty and very difficult to remove even after those few attempts at using the unit. I threw mine out. I should have requested a full refund from amazon...but am always very pleased with their service so left it alone. But, I was VERY dissappointed in the lack of quality in this product. KEEP shopping!Not very impressed. I previously owned a Shark steamer and loved it, but it will no longer output steam, so decided to shop around. I read the reviews on this and gave it a shot. It has a lot of attachments, but I am not impressed at all with the steam pressure, not sure if it is defective or just the way it is designed to work. It doesn't even clean basic buildup around the sink hardware. Very disappointed, wish I had returned it.This steamer is great it really works, take most of any wrinits out of any cloth. my biggest problem is the water u put in evaporate too fast so u in up wasting a lot of time putting water in it.We bought this for cleaning 3 parrot cages -- birds and cleaning chemicals are a risky mix, and it is hard to get their cages really clean with just water. This steamer does a fantastic job--a few short bursts of steam, and unspeakable things just wipe right off. Saves me a lot of time and effort and the cages are squeaky clean. I'd buy it again if it worked only half as well as it does. May have to try it on some other things.Wish the manuals be more full on how to put things together.Handle to hold clothes broke the first day, very sad....The attachment for clothes is very flimsy and not easy to work with. Detaching the canister from the base is not the easiest and the instruction manual could provide more informationLove cleaning with this steamer. cuts through the grim! cleaned my microfiber couches beautifully, cleans the bathroom like a champ! went through the kitchen steamed the cabinets and appliances with easy...steam then wipe. Love it this machine does so much and at a good price. I also like that I can clean and sterilize my home without using chemicalsI was not impressed with the flimsy plastic accessories. Another gitch is the fact we need both hands to operate the steamer while using these same accessories. I will definitely keep my ironing board and use the steamer as steaming iron. I dried cleaned a Berber carpet and this time, the steamer did a good job, but you need to use some imagination with the cleaning processes, extra sturdy brushes will be required to help you along the way. The flimsy piece they call a brush attachement is more like a toothbrush!! Tried it on my bathroom mirror, not too bad. Will definitely give it another try, and I still have to try it on the shower tiles and shower door itself. I will NOT return it, as I like the steamer part itself and I want to try other cleaning methods.The details were not well done, the corners were rough, and my fingers were cut.
