Waterproofed my boots did a great job.i haven't used the cleaning agent, just the water repellent. feels oily on the hands, waxy almost, so i'm sure i can assume it will help with water resistance in the future. ill probably have an update for this review in the future.Discolred leather, just as expected, great productI got this to use on a pair of riding boots (more like fashion boots, not for actual riding) that appeared to be made out of unfinished leather. I don't know what I had dropped on them, but they had, what looked like, a few oil-based stains on them (it looked like water had sunk in and never dried) and they were a little scuffed from kicking a curb, so I needed a cleaner and a conditioner/protectant to keep it from happening again. This looked like an easy option since everything was packaged together and I couldn't find anywhere that said it was just for work boots and such. Anyway, the cleaner took all of the life out of the boots. They looked dried out. I applied two coats of the conditioner, waiting overnight between each application, and most of the life came back into them, but the color and condition never seemed the same. I think it was a little rough to use on a shoe that is supposed to look a certain way. Although, the protectant worked quite well and most of the stains came out (and the scuffing). Plus, they don't absorb water or stain like they used to, so overall, it did it's job, but if you're looking for something for fashion shoes there may be a gentler option.I haven’t tried the leather water repellent, but I wasn’t impressed with the shoe and boot cleaner. I used it to clean my converse and it cleaned it, but not well. It might be because I treated my converse before I used them, so it’s harder to clean because of another water repellent I used.I was looking for a cleaner for my hiking boots which have been through their fair share of mud puddles. The cleaner worked pretty well. I am definitely one to follow instructions. After the whole process is done the boots didn’t look brand new, but my dirty boots were clean.Overall this was a pretty good product. It cleaned well, and the conditioner seems to have worked pretty well. My only problem is that it did darken my boots significantly. I knew that darkening was a possibility from reviews and the bottles themselves actually tell you that it may darken, but my boots came out way darker than I thought they would. If I didnt like the darker color I can tell you that I would probably send this stuff back. The waterproofing seems to work pretty well. The instructions say you can put on a second coat to improve it, but I didnt just because of how dark one coat turned my boots. Kinda hard to tell from the pictures of my boots next to a stock photo, but trust me, they're darker.Pictures show treated vs non-treated. I bought this product in hopes of reviving a pair of boots that I've had for over 8 years. After many seasons of being in the woods and swamps the boots were looking very rough. The leather had dried out from being abused (leaving mud on them for months at a time) and I was afraid I would need to replace my Danner snake boots ($300). Fortunately I found this product and after cleaning with the conditioner, allowing the boots to dry, then applying the supplied water proofing the boots are looking much better and the leather is back to being much softer. I will give it a few days then apply another coat before turkey season kicks off this spring. The kit included everything including a rag and brush. The leather conditioner is fine, but the cleaning product is absolute toxic for your boots. Applied a small amount to my Horween leather boots and now there's chemical damage on my pricey boots...Don't use if you dare. Not great and too much work. Hot water alone does the jobWorked great on my Danners
