This would have got a better review if they hadn’t left “air gaps” in the fitting attachment, it looses all its suction because of this!Only way it worked was to thoroughly duct tape them closed.Once that was fixed this was a very handy little device for cleaning inside my overlocker and seeing machine.My various nerd collections gather a lot of dust, the displayed Lego sets in particular. So far I have been trying to deal with it by using the thinnest vacuum cleaner nozzle covered in mesh wire and a good quality paint brush. This works well apart from the fact that it is a bit of a struggle with the thick vacuum cleaner hose while brushing off dust.So it was time to try something else. This extension set is quite complete and handy in essence. However due to the rotating ventilation slide on the hose adaptor not closing full, it loses quite some pressure - but this is for safety reasons for if I manually block these vents the vacuum cleaner pauses after a while. Also sometimes the individual parts fall apart. But for the rest it is quite a handy set, the flexible white cable in particular, although it could have been just a little linger. The three included nozzles are good. And even though I still use a mesh wire between the parts to collect small pieces that get accidentally sucked up the nozzle tubes are so thin that it will not allow many parts to go through. Given the utility this set provides I think its is very friendly priced.The adaptor sort of fits Dyson hoses, but the spring clip on those hoses causes a bit of issue. The vents in the adaptor mean there's still sufficient air flow to keep the filtration system alive, so they're worth using. The heads and mini pipes fit using an angled interference fit, so they tend to come apart after a few minutes use, which can be tricky if the head is in some hard-to-reach place. And there are inserts on the brushes that restrict the flow, but you can clip these out if required, at the risk of matting up the bristles.But all that said, it works as a described. The brushes are nice and soft, they dislodge dust OK and it gets sucked up the hose OK, so all in all I'm happy.This wouldn't fit our Shark portable battery vacuum, which is a pain because that's why I bought it – I wanted something portable. But they did fit our wired Shark vacuum (just about). The portable vacuum nozzle is within the 30-38mm size mentioned in the description so the description is incorrect.The kit seems to work fine and for detail cleaning such as in cars, they're probably a good choice. I use it for getting dust off book shelves. The big issues are (1) they stink with a horrible plastic/rubber smell (off-gassing). I've had them a week now and this has not gone away. (2) I would argue they are not worth £6-£7. This is the kind of kit a pound shop would sell for a few quid, and a fiver at most. But then again you'd have to go out and search for it, whereas here on Amazon it'll be delivered to your house.When unpacked this product was stinking for a few weeks with intense sour plastic smell. None of my hoovers actually accepted adaptor attachment until I cut it to size. When finally get to use it I have found suction to be abysmal. So small fraction of your vacuum cleaner power that I needed to use industrial one I happen to have to use this attachment in any meaningful way. It is a shame because the idea is good.
